Twelve international leaders make up the Honor Committee of the International Congress on Drowning Prevention (CIPREA).
The conference will bring together in Cordoba more than 300 people from around twenty countries from the five continents
The Honor Committee of the IV International Congress on Drowning Prevention (CIPREA), organised by the Royal Spanish Lifesaving and Rescue Federation, is made up of twelve people from the International, European, Latin American and Spanish Lifesaving and Rescue Federations.
The conference will bring together from Friday 18 October until Sunday 20 October at the Palacio de Congresos de Córdoba more than 300 people, of whom fifty or so are experts, from around twenty countries from the five continents, who will participate in papers or present their oral communications and scientific posters.
Leaders on the CIPREA supporting body include International Life Saving Federation (ILS) President Graham Ford, ILS Secretary General Harald Vervaecke, and International Vice Presidents Dirk Bissinger (Federation Europe Region President), Sameh El Shazly (Africa Region President), John Baker AM ESM (Asia-Pacific Region President) and Peter Davis (Americas Region President).
It is also made up of the Vice-Presidents of the European Federation and members of the Executive Committee of the International Giorgio Quintavalle, Jolanda van Dalen and Claire Ann Alonso, as well as the President of the Management Commission of the Royal Spanish Lifesaving and Rescue Federation, Isabel García Sanz, who is also President of the Latin American Lifesaving and Rescue Federation (FLASS).
FLASS is also represented on the CIPREA Honor Committee by its vice-president of Finance and Accounting, Promotion and Dissemination, Gabriel Villanueva; and the vice-president of Prevention and Research, Alexandre Tadeia Mesquita.
