CD Salvasur will once again collaborate in the International Congress on Drowning Prevention (CIPREA), which will take place in Cordoba

Sport Club Salvasur will once again be one of the main collaborating entities of the International Congress on Drowning Prevention (CIPREA), which, in its fourth edition, will take place in Cordoba from the 18th to the 20th of October, organised by the Royal Spanish Lifesaving Federation.

CIPREA is the most important European and Latin American conference and the second most important in the world on drowning prevention, which will be held again in Cordoba after the one held in October 2021.

Salvasur will participate in CIPREA 2024, as it did then, in the third edition, in 2021, through a group of volunteers who will carry out logistical work and will be integrated into support tasks for the organisation.

Likewise, the Cordoba Lifesaving Club will carry out training activities in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) as part of the event, which will take place at the Palacio de Congresos de Córdoba, and will present a stand where it will give an account of its activities.

Salvasur has contributed four lifeguards to the Andalusian team which participated in the Spanish Championships by Autonomous Communities held in Cullera (Valencia).

There, its president, José Aguilar Delgado, and the president of the Management Commission of the Royal Spanish Lifesaving Federation, Isabel García Sanz, shared details about the organisation of the CIPREA and specified aspects about the participation of Salvasur.
