Cajasur collaborates in a photographic exhibition on the occasion of the International Congress on Drowning Prevention

More than 300 experts from five continents will meet in Cordoba in October

The Cajasur foundation will collaborate in the third edition of the International Congress on Drowning Prevention, Ciprea, which will take place in Cordoba from 15 to 17 October. Cajasur’s financial contribution will go towards a photographic exhibition and an exhibition of objects related to lifesaving ‘A sport that saves lives‘.

This is the agreement result signed between the director of the Cajasur Foundation and patron of Convisur, Ángel Cañadilla, and the Royal Spanish Lifesaving Federation president, Isabel García Sanz.

The exhibition, which has the collaboration of the Cordoba City Council and which can be visited at the Palacio de Orive between 14 and 29 October, in the mornings, will include unique items from the Spanish lifesaving history, such as trophies, plaques, medals and historical documents.

Cañadilla pointed out “the importance of celebrate a congress of these characteristics in order to reduce deaths or possible injuries by drowning“; he also indicated “the benefits that an international event like this will bring to our local economy”.

For García Sanz, the presence of Cajasur in the exhibition is “another example of the involvement of the Cordoba institutions with the Congress and with what it means”.

The third edition of the Congress, which is held every two years, will bring together in Cordoba more than 300 lifesaving experts and drowning prevention from the five continents. Source: Cajasur Foundation 2021/8/11
